Scanflip
ScanFlip was launched by Doc Seven (William Van de Walle), a well-known French content creator and videographer and a Yu‑Gi‑Oh! collector for over 20 years. During lockdown, Doc Seven began tracking his collection with a simple Excel spreadsheet to make sense of prices, trends, and trades.
That personal tool quickly revealed a bigger need. What started as a solo solution evolved into ScanFlip: a comprehensive platform built by a collector, for collectors. Rooted in real-world experience, ScanFlip reflects deep market knowledge, radical transparency, and genuine passion—supporting beginners discovering their first cards and veterans managing high‑value collections alike.
Task
Create a premium visual identity paired with an intuitive, camera-first UX/UI across web and mobile. The experience should allow collectors to instantly scan cards, access real-time market value, and seamlessly buy, sell, or trade in just a few taps.
